The opposition parties in the country seem to be trying to lure the electorate with ‘reality show’ figures.
Actress Julia Ilirjani, tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri, Fotini Derxho and Jetmir Salaj, four former residents in the editions of Big Brother VIP will run for the May 11 elections.
In the Elbasan district, Sali Berisha has considered running Armaldo Kllogjeri. Among the names on the open list was that of the tenor in question, who was part of the second edition of “Big Brother VIP Albania”.
Actress Julia Ilirjani will also run in the May 11 elections alongside the Democratic Party. The former resident of “Big Brother VIP 3” will be part of the list of this political force in the Tirana district, a list led by Sali Berisha himself.
Also, another former Big Brother resident who will run for MP in the May 11 parliamentary elections is Fotini Derxho, who heads the list of Agron Shehaj’s Mundësia party in the Gjirokastra district.
The list of BBV “stars” who are transitioning into politics is joined by Jetmir Salaj, who will run for MP in the May 11, 2025 parliamentary elections, as part of the list of the “Shqipëria Bëhet” party, led by Adriatik Lapaj.
