Analyst Arjan Curri has stated that the voting for the primaries was a failure because according to him, there was a ‘fill the boxes or leave’ principle.
Curri stated that Berisha has a list ready with his close allies, who according to the analyst will not emerge victorious in the elections because the list is with weak candidates.
“Many things impress me. These primaries were held according to the ‘fill the boxes or leave’ principle. You only need to look at some districts, in Korça a well-known professor had 13 votes in his city and several dozen more in Devoll Maliq and the villages of Pogradec. There are other cases, women who received a lot of votes in Tirana, meanwhile, received their votes in the surrounding areas. In my opinion, these primaries brought to the DP what a philosopher would call ‘the war of all against all’. I have met many disappointed DP people, these structures have led them into discord. They simply grab people and vote for me because I will do this and that. Today I saw Berisha on his worst day.
