Reestablishment MP Saimir Korreshi invited to “S’e Luan Topi” revealed the difficulties he went through in the period when he decided to leave Albania.

He stated that he went to study in Italy, but for 20 days he slept at the train station.

He explained this period as the most difficult, where he faced even more difficult economic problems.

Eriona Rusi: At the age of 19, you left Lushnja to study in Italy, but this departure was not easy for you, you faced many difficulties there.

Saimir Korreshi: I left because my family had economic difficulties. My father has been sick, he had a heart attack.

I was the only person working at home in ’99. After that, the family did not have the financial means to keep me in Tirana.

I chose Italy for the opportunities but also for the employment opportunities. My two friends who offered themselves couldn’t hold me anymore.

I stayed at the train station for about 20 days. I slept for 20 days. I had a sports bag with me with some clothes that I had brought with me.
