Sokol Mêngjesi had just sent the child to kindergarten when it is suspected that three people ambushed him and raped him.
The lawyer of the former prime minister, Sali Berisha, reported that when he left the child in the kindergarten in the area of the former Block, the perpetrators approached him and hit him first with fists and then with hard objects.
Berisha’s legal representative is suspected to have been raped due to property issues, however, the details of the incident are still unknown.
He was taken to the hospital where he is receiving medical attention and is in a stable condition.
Sokol Mêngjesi has not yet given his statements to the investigators and that he is undergoing examinations at the hospital.
The incident happened around 8:50 a.m. near the lawyer’s apartment in the area of the former Block in Tirana.
Meanwhile, the police seized the cameras to identify the perpetrators of the incident and the witnesses at the scene were interrogated.
