The former prison policeman, Gentjan Bejtja, was executed by gunfire yesterday afternoon in the yard of his apartment, in Larushka, Fushë-Kruja.
It is suspected that Bejtja was guarded by the perpetrators and was shot while entering the apartment.
It is believed that there were 4 people who participated in the assassination of the former operative, who was a known exponent of crime and wanted by the police.
The assassins are known to have traveled in a “Land Rover” type vehicle from the area of Fushë Kruja towards Larushka. At around 16:20 they entered the alley where the villa of Gentian Bejtja was located in the village of Larushk, which was all surrounded by walls.
After parking the SUV near the main gate of the former policeman’s apartment, 3 of the perpetrators got out of the vehicle, masked, wearing black clothes and with 3 Kalashnikovs in their hands. While one of the perpetrators is suspected of waiting for them in the car to leave the scene.
The large gate of Gentian Bejtja’s villa was open and the perpetrators entered directly into the courtyard. Their target was only a few meters away from the yard as he was doing some work behind his apartment.
