Fredi Beleri was greeted with insults, as he was entering the building of the Presidency of the Assembly, as part of the official delegation of the European Parliament that has come to Tirana.
“Shame on you! Street! Who put you in, deputy?!”
These were the insults that Fredi Beleri faced when he was part of a group of MEPs who came to Tirana as part of a European Parliament commission for Albania.
Beleri did not react and entered the premises of the Assembly.
The delegation of the European Stabilization-Association Parliament, EU-Albania, started today the monitoring visit to our country and will stay until October 31. The former mayor of Himara, who did not hold this position for a single day, Fredi Beleri was elected MEP in the last elections of the European Parliament, while he was in prison, convicted of buying votes.
