The American Hospital has reacted after the death of 28-year-old Lirida Hasalla, after an aesthetic operation performed in its premises.
Through an announcement from the Hospital, it is said that the operation was performed according to the medical and professional protocol, in accordance with every medical standard.
It is also said that the operation was completed successfully and without any problems, but according to the announcement, on January 30, the young woman suffered a complication, which according to them is part of the risk of any surgical intervention.
According to them, despite the many efforts of the hospital’s medical staff, it has not been possible to bring the young woman back to normal and keep her alive.
We remember that the young woman who lost her life two years ago was suffering from cancer. The family members accuse the doctors of Lirida Hasalla’s death.

Based on public attention and interest, the American Hospital, with deep sorrow and pain, feels a moral and professional obligation to provide accurate information on the case of patient I.H for her sudden death on January 30. On January 29, patient I. H. performed a surgical intervention at the American Hospital, a routine intervention carried out with every detail according to the medical and professional protocol.
The operation was performed in accordance with all medical standards, after all the controls, consents and analyzes required by the operator were performed. The operation was completed successfully and without any problems.
On January 30, the patient suffered an immediate deterioration from a very serious post-operative complication with a high mortality rate, which is part of the risk of any surgical intervention. Despite the best efforts by the doctors and the most specialized staff of the Hospital for several hours to bring the patient back to normal, unfortunately the patient lost her life.
