“We have no more reason to lie to you,” said the Coordinator for Public Information and Consultation at the Municipality of Fier, Neritan Bocova.
Zjarr Televizione contacted Bocova to request information about the project “Reconstruction of ‘Dervish Hekali’ Street, its surrounding areas and the rehabilitation of the facades”, carried out in 2016.
After the completion of this project, we received a complaint from a citizen, who expressed concern that the Municipality of Fier had not reconstructed the former ATV building, as well as the buildings nearby.
The response from the Municipality of Fier states that this project was carried out and financed by the Albanian Development Fund, which was rejected by the latter.
The Albanian Development Fund also made available to us all the projects carried out by this institution during 2016 and states that this project was not carried out by them but by the Municipality of Fier.
After this email, ‘Zjarr Televizione’ contacted the Coordinator for Public Information and Consultation at the Municipality of Fier again, who stated that he had provided an answer and that there was no more lying about this project.
