In the second Rai 3 documentary about the agreement between Italy and Albania for refugees, where Albania was presented as a narco-state, an interview of the journalist Giorgio Mottola with the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, now a fugitive in Switzerland, was also shown.

The latter made serious accusations against Edi Rama, saying that he is not only connected to crime, but also hosted mafia bosses in the office. Ahmetaj claims to have seen these people, but after being asked by the journalist who they are, he did not give names, mentioning only a few cities where he claims they come from, namely Elbasan, Durrës and Dibra.

Ahmetaj also mentioned Ergys Agas, as a person who plays the role of coordinator between Rama and criminal groups.

Contacted by journalist Ylli Rakipi for an interview on the show “The Unexposed”, Agasi gave a short answer. He declared “I don’t deal with rumours, especially from people who have escaped and have problems with justice”, a statement similar to many of Prime Minister Rama’s answers during the interview with journalist Mottola, where he considered the claims presented as rumors exported by the opposition and the media Albanian, not based on facts.

Agasi also added that he has no function in the Socialist Party.

The documentary of Report on Rai 3 has brought many reactions, mainly in the opposition camp, even PD will organize a protest on Thursday on this issue, demanding the resignation of Edi Rama and a technical government, less than a year before the elections parliamentary.
