The Socialist Party’s National Youth Assembly, which was held on Saturday at the Palace of Congresses, created a stir not for the event itself, but rather for the great “love” expressed by some young people, who compared the party to the sun and declared themselves to be the most beautiful petals of the “socialist rose”.
“In my brain, the SP functions like an orbit, like a solar system, like the sun that has gravity and brings the planets. And we revolve around the sun with gravity”, said one of the young people.
These words were spoken by Andon Gjoni, who articulated this previously unheard-of comparison before Prime Minister Edi Rama and his peers.
But this “courage” of the young man from Lezha was not overshadowed by the Socialist Party, which apparently had found its place even before he spoke at the National Youth Assembly.
He was awarded the post of mayor of the Shenkoll administrative unit and the news was given by the head of the Lezha Municipal Council Ernest Rakaj.
“Today with Deputy Mayor Brikena Vuksani in the Shenkoll Unit to hand over the baton to the head of the works in the area Andon Gjoni! I wish Andon much success in his new task in the service of a wonderful area and with extraordinary people”, Rakaj writes on Facebook.
This is not the first time that the Socialist Party rewards young people, who make such comparisons and praise Prime Minister Edi Rama.
