The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, reacted to the bad weather situation in our country today.
Through an announcement on Facebook, Peleshi says that the thickness of the snow in the counties of Shkodra, Dibra and Kukës has also brought problems with the blocking of some road axes and power outages in these areas.
He also says that OSHEE teams are on the ground to repair the defects in the damaged lines, while he appeals to the citizens of these areas to limit their movements and, if necessary, contact civil emergencies.

Since the hours of yesterday evening, the entire territory of the country has been engulfed by intense rain, while in the mountainous areas of some districts there is also snowfall.
The situation in the region of Shkodra, Dibra or Kukës is being closely followed by the structures, where the thickness of the snow in the rural areas has also brought problems with the blocking of some roads and power outages. Passable with chains are the Bogë-Theth axes, the Arbri road, while the contractors are working on the blocked axes for their cleaning and salting.
OSHEE crews are on site to repair faults on damaged lines.
We call on the residents of the areas most affected by the bad weather to limit their movements and if necessary contact the structures, which are all ready for any situation!
