The State Police, due to the difficulties in the circulation of vehicles, due to the rain and snow, has gone on standby throughout the country, to offer assistance to drivers and citizens.
Also, the State Police says that steering groups have been set up to coordinate the work and manage the information provided by all areas of the country.
“The National Security Forces, together with the evacuation-rescue groups and the Alpine Police that are part of this force, are ready to provide assistance to citizens, in case of need.
Inspectors and community policing specialists are distributed in the areas they cover and are in continuous contact with local government representatives, civil emergencies and village heads, in order to monitor the situation and intervene in time, in case of need.
All the employees of the Traffic Police have gone to the field, to manage the circulation of vehicles and to help the drivers who asked for help by calling 112.
Due to heavy rainfall and snow in some areas, there is an increased presence of water and snow on urban and interurban roads, which creates difficulties in the circulation of vehicles and pedestrians.

The State Police also appeals to drivers to moderate speed and maintain a safe distance with other vehicles on the road, not to make wrong passes, not to use mobile phones while driving and to wear seat belts.
