SP MP Blerina Gjylameti, who is seeking another mandate in the Tirana district, has admitted that the SP’s promise in its 3 mandates of government for 24-hour water supply has not been fulfilled.
Gjylameti said that the progress since 2023 when there were only 4 areas in our country with 24-hour water supply, in 2025 there are 43 urban areas and 98 rural areas that are currently supplied with 24-hour water.
Gjylameti further spoke about the electoral campaign and according to her, the difficulty lies in the fact that women have more challenges.
According to her, the disadvantage is being on an open list and working throughout the district for the individual vote.
“It’s not easy to campaign. Not only as part of the open list, but also being a woman. There are no electoral battles that are simple and it’s not a series. You have to account for what you’ve done and earn their trust for what you’re going to do.

The job has allowed me to get to know many people and besides the fact that I’m grateful for the support they’ve given me, I believe I’ve left a good name that I can turn into support for myself,” said Gjylameti.
