When asked if the DP has people to replace Sali Berisha, Topalli replied:
“There is no one. Since he left, Sali Berisha has brought a different spirit within the structures and outside them.
In 2017, the one who was at the head of the DP, eliminated the political class and took a group of people who were good with the chairman. Now this chapter is closed and it is a different reality”.
“So far, there is no one in the DP to replace Berisha. The Democratic Party has its chairman, we will have time to talk about the future”, added Topalli.
When asked if she will run in the primaries, Jozefina Topalli said that she has not thought much about this.
“I am focused elsewhere. I won’t deal with the primaries right now, but in my political life I have not entered with the mayor’s list, but I have run with the other person in front of me. That’s why I don’t think so, maybe,” said Topalli.
