Agron Gjekmarkaj, vice president of the DP and the Assembly, in the show “Kjo Javë” with journalist Nisida Tufa on News24 said that for two or three days in a row he had problems with blood pressure and arrhythmia, after the incident that occurred at the last protest called by the Democratic Party.
Gjekmarkaj said that as a result of strong pressure from the police, I felt a slowdown in breathing at that moment, which then forced me to leave for the hospital.
“Such events should not be repeated not only for Agron Gjekmarkaj, not for deputies, but for any ordinary citizen who protests”, said Gjekmarkaj.
The vice president of the Assembly said that during his stay in the hospital there were 7 or 8 socialist deputies who were interested in their health. “I expected others, but they were absent, maybe they did not have that courage”, said Gjekmarkaj.
