A bus on the ‘Unazë’ line in Tirana was engulfed in flames today near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Regarding this, a reaction has come from the socialist MP Erion Braçe, who says that he was on the ground and witnessed this incident.
Through a post on social networks, Braçe states that these buses do not meet the conditions and provide a poor service, while demanding that the companies be held responsible for such events.
“Public transport in Tirana must change completely. The transport companies that have contracted this service do not significantly meet the conditions, especially the quality of service. They are such old trash can buses. Totally unsuitable for Tirana traffic. They are dirty and slimy, pollute as much and ultimately are dangerous as they sometimes catch fire, especially when it is cold. I was on the ground and saw how it caught fire! It must change radically and these companies must be held responsible once and for all,” he writes.
