On Saturday, the Democratic Party held primaries, where the names most voted for by the membership will also be the future candidates for MP.
Many new names participated in this process and were voted for massively.
One of them is Gentian Koçi, who was a candidate for the Democratic Party Primaries in the Fier District.
Koçi was ranked in the top five most voted in this district, securing 438 votes.
In a reaction after the announcement of the official results by the Commission for the Organization and Control of Electoral Operations, Koçi thanked the Democrats for their support and massive participation, describing this process as a model of democracy and unity within the DP.
Koçi described the wide participation of the membership as an indicator that the DP is more united than ever and determined to win the May 11 elections.
