Citizens of Lezha have gathered in front of the Constitutional Court to oppose the agreement between the Italian and Albanian governments for immigrants.
With placards in their hands, they say that Albania is not the private property of Edi Rama, thus opposing the establishment of refugee camps in Gjadër and Shengjin.
They have also expressed that Albania cannot guarantee the rights of immigrants as the European Union can.
“They simply cannot guarantee the rights of immigrants as the EU can,” said a protester.
