During a meeting at an olive oil factory in Memaliaj, Prime Minister Rama encountered the testimony of a citizen, who confessed that he had had a problem with the former mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, when he was in office.
According to the citizen, Basha had behaved very badly with him about a compensation that he was entitled to, telling him that he would only receive it when Rama returned to the municipality.
“He didn’t give me the money. He behaved badly with me, he didn’t want to give it to me. He told me that when Edi Rama comes back to the Municipality of Tirana, you will get that money. He called me a communist and behaved badly. I felt sorry for the girl, because she had just started teaching and I didn’t want to ruin her work, but I would have slapped her in the face,” the citizen said, adding that only after 5 years had she received the money that was due to her,” the citizen said.
Meanwhile, the prime minister did not miss the opportunity to ironize the former leader of the DP again.
“Oh Lul, what have you done like this, have you done this too? Have you done these things too? Not that we need those pages of yours! You’re a dog and a mouse! Lul, the past is forgotten. But where did you take the money, my Lul?!” Rama said, among other things.
