Ramush Haradinaj, former fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, has exclusively told the Kosovo Diary a very interesting detail of the great contribution made by the writer Ismail Kadare in his release from The Hague.
The genius of letters has used precisely the power of his words composed in a letter to convince the judges in The Hague to decide on the declaration of Mr. Haradinaj’s innocence.
“At every stage of the challenges that the Albanian nation has gone through in general, we in Kosovo have felt Kadare’s care. He has given an opinion in The Hague on the context of the war which has been of help to me during the judicial process in The Hague. I haven’t had a chance to say it. We have been waiting for him to win the Nobel Prize. He has been nominated and we have him in our care. In my file is an article by Kadare that was evaluated in The Hague by all the judges”, said Haradinaj.
