The chairman of the Fryma e Re Demokratike party, Sali Shehu, appears at SPAK.
The former MP who currently leads the FRD appeared at the prosecution institution at noon today, while also joking with the journalists present. The reasons for the appearance remain unknown and are expected to be clarified further.
At the same time, a former senior functionary of the DP and the State Police in the DP government over the years, Shehu, as he asked the policeman at the door that he was going to enter SPAK, was asked about the reason.
“I came for fun, I will drink coffee!”, he said.
To the insistence of journalists that they would not wait for him for 4 hours for fun until he came out, the former MP replied:
“Why don’t you come here for fun?! I won’t stay long, just 5 minutes and I will leave”.
But he did not explain why he was summoned, whether it was in connection with an old case he was aware of or other circumstances. Shehu was investigated and charged for the 1998 riots in Tirana, following the murder of Azem Hajdari.
