The Albanian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mustafa Nano, has resigned from his post. Nano himself confirmed this news to the Swiss media outlet LeCanton27.ch.
Contacted by international media, analyst Mustafa Nano, while thanking all Albanians in Switzerland, said that this resignation is something personal.
“This resignation of mine is something of a personal nature…” said Mustafa Nano.
Switzerland is now left without an Albanian ambassador and it is still not known who will replace Mustafa Nano. He was appointed to this post in July last year, proposed by the Rama government and appointed by the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
Nano at that time replaced Ilir Gjon, who was appointed to this post by former President Bujar Nishani in 2023.
