Prostitution with minors is behind the murder of the Albanian, Bledar Dedaj in a wooded area of Pieve del Grappa (Treviso) on January 20.
Yesterday (February 23), a 17-year-old resident of Pieve del Grappa municipality was placed in handcuffs by the Italian police.
It is suspected that the victim, who was married and the father of two children, forced the teenager to have sex in exchange for money. But when the 17-year-old wanted to end it, Bledar Dedaj allegedly blackmailed him, so the teenager set a trap to get rid of him.
The minor agreed to meet the Albanian in the afternoon of January 20 and they went with the victim’s car inside the wooded area away from people’s eyes.
According to the Italian media, the young man allegedly showed up at the meeting with a knife and asked Bledjan Dedaj to end the relationship.
The debate has resulted in a physical conflict, as can be seen from the numerous superficial blows on the victim’s body and from the wounds on his hands, a sign that Bledari tried to defend himself.
At that moment, according to the prosecutor’s investigation, the Albanian got out of the car, but was stabbed in the back by the 17-year-old.
After the murder of Bledar Dedjas, the minor fled the scene of the crime on foot, but it was filmed by security cameras located along the main road.
Double life
The man, married with two young children, met women and young men for sex. In the victim’s second cell phone, investigators found evidence of contact between Bledar Dedja and the suspect.
In the conversations, it was revealed that the two had agreed to meet on the very day of the murder.
The boy, after beating to death the 39-year-old man, who was found about 100 meters away from the car with his pants and underwear down, apparently got rid of the car keys, as well as the knife used to commit the crime. He also got rid of some clothes he was wearing, probably because they were covered in blood.
First date
The first meeting between the 17-year-old and the Albanian took place about a year ago at Bledari’s workplace.
In that period, the 39-year-old allegedly convinced the teenager to start a sexual relationship in exchange for money.
One of the hypotheses that the prosecution is working on is that the 17-year-old wanted to end the relationship, but Bledari refused and also blackmailed him.
Traces
In recent days, the Prosecutor’s Office had investigated some fingerprints found on clothes, on the body and probably also on some personal belongings that were inside the Mercedes Class B that belonged to the victim.
The boy was betrayed by the messages found on Dedja’s second cell phone, which confirm contact with the suspect. But above all the injuries to his hands that the 17-year-old received during the fight on February 20.
Dedja was hit with about twenty stab wounds, one of which, the fatal one, was the blow to the back that damaged his lungs and caused him to bleed profusely.
