The deputy of the Democratic Party, Flutura Açka, has reacted regarding the debates on the Electoral Reform and the meeting of the Special Commission. Through a post on social networks, the democratic deputy says that “a lot of noise is being made, taking the debate about it out of its essence”.
Açka emphasizes that the Commission for Electoral Reform will be convened soon, but says that first the departed member Grida Duma must be replaced.
Açka states that “to say that the opposition is not represented and that Alibeaj has less opposition nerve than anyone else is “stupid”.
“But to say that the Opposition is not represented, insults the colleagues of this list! To claim that Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj has less oppositional nerve than any of us in the Opposition, in whatever opposition fragment we are, is nonsense. To say “sold out” to a part of the Opposition, because you cannot digest its resistance, is diabolical. We have only one way: let the parties sit down and all the proposals be on the table, publicly and for the benefit of the Albanians, not with words, but with letters. Carta bag”, writes Flutura Açka.

Much noise is being made about electoral reform, detracting from the debate about it: changing the system that produces unjust power. Noise as oppositionists and not being seriously involved in any cause can make us losers, and this is exactly what Edi Rama wants. Until now, we have complained that the Electoral Reform Commission does not meet. Now that it gathers, and seeks international assistance, it is declared heresy. We have no solution without making the reform.
Soon, the committee should also meet and everyone should bring their proposals. But before doing so, the commission must replace the outgoing member, Mrs. Grida Duma. Fortunately, as can be seen from the list of members, all fragments of the Opposition are represented.
Should it have been assembled earlier? Should we now be clear about the propositions? Yes of course. But this does not mean that it should not be collected. Those who laugh the most, are those who neither turned yellow nor reddened by the shameful failure of the Territorial Reform. They took royalties from Albanian taxes, and forgot.

I am publishing in respect of a wise and wise oppositionist, the proposals of Mr. Dashamir Shehi, Chairman of the Movement for National Development. They are close to the proposals of the Democratic Party.
