A currency exchange point was robbed in the area of the Institute in Tirana. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, while according to the police, the masked perpetrators took the sum of 30,000 ALL.
Initially, it is suspected that there were three masked people who demolished a part of the wall of the building and then entered.
After they managed to complete their mission, the perpetrators used a BMW type vehicle to leave.
It is learned that the security cameras were also seized in order to identify the perpetrators.
The police and the investigative team are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
On 01.02.2024, during the night, at the Agricultural Institute, on “Kastriotët” street, unidentified citizens damaged the wall of a currency exchange entity, owned by citizen F. Gj., 59 years old, and took 30,000 ALL young, and are gone. Work is being done to identify and catch the perpetrators.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
