The former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, was sentenced to three years in prison in connection with the video scandal with the citizen Alma Kaçi, which was converted to two years in prison, due to the shortened trial.

Gjici’s criminal offense was reclassified and he was sentenced for abuse of office, instead of corruption.

There was also a requalification of the criminal offense for Alma Kaçi. She was sentenced to one year in prison for prostitution.
