The former notary and BBV3 winner, Luiz Ejlli, has been sentenced to 1 year in prison by the Court of Fier for falsifying documents.
Luiz Ejlli is accused of falsifying documents to justify the illegal source of assets derived from the criminal activity of the citizen with the initials F. A.

They falsified documents to justify the illegal source of assets derived from criminal activity, at the request of the Fier Prosecutor’s Office, the former notary L.E. and citizen F.A.
The prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier demanded a 12-month prison sentence for the former notary E.L., and the citizen F.A. accused of committing the criminal offense of ‘Forgery of documents’ carried out in collaboration, provided by article 186, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
In the framework of the investigations initiated by the former Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the Lushnjë General Jurisdiction on criminal proceedings no. 388, of 2022, with the defendants, citizens L.E. and F.A., it was proven that the defendant F.A., in cooperation with the defendant L.E., a former notary, forged the notarial declaration, which the defendant F.A. used it in the Prosecutor’s Office, to justify the source of the creation of his assets, seized as part of the investigations of the property proceeding no. 3 of 2021, of the former Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the Lushnjë General Jurisdiction.
The notarial declaration drawn up by the defendant L.E., was falsified in its content, but bore the latter’s signature. It was proven that, on the same date, the collection number that this notarial declaration held, in the register of the former notary L.E. and in the archive of notarial acts drafted by him, in 2015, there is a notarial declaration with different parties.
Specifically, the defendant L.E., although his license was revoked by the Ministry of Justice, still in possession of the notary’s stamps, in cooperation with the defendant F.A., created the notarial statement with false data, and then the defendant F.A., on 25.02.2022, submitted this notarial statement to the former Lushnje Prosecutor’s Office.
On 02.10.2024, the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Fier concluded the judicial review of the case and decided to declare the defendant guilty of the fact sent for trial, as follows:
The guilty plea of the defendant L.E., for committing the criminal offense “Forgery of documents”, carried out in cooperation, provided for by Article 186 paragraph 2, of the Criminal Code, and his sentence of 12 (twelve) months of imprisonment;
The guilty plea of the defendant F.A, for committing the criminal offense “Forgery of documents”, carried out in cooperation, and his sentence of 18 (eighteen) months of imprisonment.
