The director of the Tirana Police, Tonin Vocaj, has revealed details about the investigation into the rape of lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi.
In a press conference, Vocaj revealed that the authorities have expanded their searches throughout the country to arrest the perpetrators. While more than six weeks have passed since the serious event, three of the aggressors are still being sought.
“As we have announced, the Tirana Police for the morning event has carried out quick investigative actions and made it possible to arrest the two main perpetrators. The searches for the capture of other persons continue, our searches have been in Tirana, the searches have been extended throughout Albania and we hope that we will have quick concrete results that will lead to the arrest and bringing to justice even these individuals”, said Tonin Vocaj .
