A young woman died in a private hospital in Tirana yesterday. According to the police, the 28-year-old girl died after the operation in this hospital, while the prosecutor’s office has also started investigations.
In the official announcement, the blues of the capital clarify that an investigative group has been set up and the first procedural actions have been carried out, such as the autopsy, the questioning of family members, the questioning of the doctors and the anesthetist who participated in the operation.
“Yesterday, on 30.01.2024, a notification was received that the citizen I. H., 28 years old, resident in Tirana, died in a private hospital, after an operation.
After receiving the notification, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation group was set up and the first procedural actions were carried out, such as the autopsy, the questioning of the family members, the questioning of the doctors and the anesthesiologist who participated in the operation”, the police explained.
In the meantime, the materials will be transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
