Farmers and livestock farmers have protested in front of the Directorate of Agriculture in Devoll.
As a sign of protest, the farmers went with tractors which they lined up in front of the Directorate.
They have submitted a series of demands to the Ministry of Agriculture:
1- Equalization of VAT for agricultural products;
2-Reimbursement for every liter of milk;
3-Tax-free oil for agricultural tools;
4- VAT invoice with real price from the collection point on the day of delivery of the product;
5- Subsidy for seeds and seedlings;
6- Subsidy for organic products
Cattle breeders say that the price of milk from collectors is 120 lek per liter, when in fact it should be 170 lek, so the price has been reduced by about 30% of the value!
