Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump, confirmed on Friday that he is close to finalizing several major real estate deals in Albania and Serbia.
The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said in the show Now on Euronews Albania that the investment in the island of Sazan is a political investment.
According to him, Rama’s project with strategic investors in the country has ended in clientelism, so it is better for Sazan to be taken by Trump’s son-in-law than the son-in-law of any minister or deputy.
“Maintaining a balance with the future presidency of the Republicans in Washington is necessary for official Tirana, I was evaluating it as a political investment. It is better to give it to Trump’s son-in-law than to the sons-in-law of ministers and deputies. Until today, Rama’s project with strategic investors has failed, because he has made clientelism with all the family members of the governors”, said Spahiu.
