The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, closes any avenue of cooperation with Sali Berisha.
Asked on the “Open” show on New24 if he is ready to join forces with Sali Berisha, Agron Shehaj answered flatly “no”.
Shehaj also stated that the party he leads is entering the May 11 elections to create a parliamentary group. Referring to the polls, he said that if the elections were held today, they would receive 10% of the votes.
“We are entering the elections to get at least, to create a parliamentary group, it is not a wish, but based on facts. We are the new party that has the most support that we are talking about and the polls show us 10% of the votes. That is why we entered the race”, said Shehaj.
Question: Are you ready to join forces with Berisha?
Agron Shehaj: I was in the DP and I left, you tell me… I left the DP. If I had faith that it was the right path…I came out when Berisha was the leader of the DP.
Question: Are you ready for cooperation for a front?
Agron Shehaj: No
