The Judicial Electoral College has reviewed the appeal of the Popular Union of Albanian Pensioners Party, presented by its representative, Selami Jenishehri, and has decided to fine it 50 thousand lekë.
The appeal concerned the 2021 parliamentary elections, where Jenishehri requested the “annulment” of the election results.
Jenishehri had initially been part of the “Alliance for a Greater Albania” coalition and had then filed an appeal with the Administrative Court of Appeal. His fine is one of the latest decisions related to the legal processes for the 2021 elections.
