The Central Election Commission has banned the Albanian Ambassador to the US, Ervin Bushati, from going to Washington on Monday to participate in the inauguration ceremony of President Trump.
Our Foreign Ministry has declared this activity to the CEC, according to the obligation that every institution has from January 11 to May 11, so that no one uses public positions for electoral advantages, Report TV informs.
But the CEC has categorized this activity of Ambassador Bushati as “banned”, because the reporting was not done 5 days in advance as required by law, but only 3 days in advance.
It remains to be seen whether the Albanian Ambassador to the US will respect this CEC order or not.
