Former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, who was not allowed to attend his father’s funeral ceremony, arrived in Kosovo today.
With a wreath in his hand, Hashim Thaçi immediately went to the cemetery where his late father rests.
It is learned that the Special Court has allowed Hashim Thaçi to come to Kosovo, after the death of his father, Haxhi Thaçi.
The news was announced by Nasim Haradinaj, who wrote in a Facebook post: “They brought him today at an untimely time, just for show and that they have no point in themselves, let alone the humanity that they lack in total”.
Hashim Thaçi’s father, Haxhi Thaçi, passed away on 16.03.2025. He was admitted to the University Clinical Center due to his serious health condition.
Last Thursday, he was visited by Hashim Thaçi, who was granted permission to visit by the Special Court, which is trying him for alleged war crimes. After a visit of about three hours under strict security measures, Thaçi returned to The Hague.
