Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with the electoral headquarters in Tirana.
Part of the meeting were MP Erion Braçe and the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu.
There, MP Erion Braçe told him that he had held meetings even on rainy days, with citizens who participated with umbrellas.
Rama cast doubts on this, while Braçe asked him to look at his Instagram sometimes, to understand the work that is being done in this unit.
The head of government picks up a phone and looks at the posts, to prove if what the socialist MP said was true.
Excerpt from the conversation:
Braçe: We will have 3-4 meetings a day, until 6-7 pm. We did a test last week, we held the meetings on Monday at the Palace of Arrows with Ifran Tomini. At the Palace of Arrows, even though it was rainy, people were there with umbrellas.
Rama: Outside?
Braçe: Outside.
Rama: Meeting outside, with umbrellas?
Braçe: You should look at my Instagram too, man, because we look at your Instagram every day. You can look at mine too, because it’s not a joke. We look at you Eye to Eye since dawn, you should look at us too, because it’s not a joke.
Rama: I mean outside with umbrellas.
Braçe: Even with umbrellas, people were sitting there in the rain.
Rama: Let me open it and see.
Braçe: Someone will come out and curse.
Rama: Let them come out, we’re used to this.
(Braçe shows the meetings)
Rama: There are no meetings here, Braçe stopped them on the street.
Braçe: The whole structure is up and running.
