In an interview for Top Channel, Elia Zaharia explained why she was living in the Royal Palace and not Prince Leka.
“Being convinced that my eyes saw my father being violently attacked and my soul was torn apart. All the evidence of violence is on his body and the prosecution and the court have it all. I say this because it is important that the people who publicly supported me, even taking the cost of the hatred of the partisans of the other side, know that they are essentially defending a man who “jumped down their throats” in defense of his parents. There is no property issue in between, everything is defined.
There is no usurpation either, my daughter and I live in the family house which he abandoned, and this until the apartment he gave to the daughter is built! All this according to the family code where the best interest of the child is considered. My father had been taking care of me and my daughter for 10 days, because I had a fever and could not take care of myself. What haven’t my ears heard these days! I have neither party nor partisans to defend me, I only have my truth”, declared Elia.
A few days ago, Prince Leka and his ex-wife, Elia Zaharia, sued each other for violence. The situation became even bigger, after the images of the violence inside the palace were also published.
