Shpëtim Idrizi’s PDIU is part of the “Great Albania” coalition led by the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha. Invited to the “Opinion” studio on Tv Klan, he said that the coalition was forced by the Electoral Code and that he learned about the news about the introduction of 25 other parties, which according to him he did not even recognize 90% of them, from television.
Shpëtim Idrizi: This is a coalition forced by the Electoral Code, where we naturally formed a coalition with the DP. Of course, in the coalition there is one who does it and who leads it, which is Sali Berisha’s DP and I learned from television that Sali Berisha has formed a coalition with 25 other parties that, with all the respect I have for them, I do not recognize 90% of them and cannot be responsible for them.
He also touched on the fact that part of this coalition is Vangjel Dule, and with the latter it seems that Idrizi has not closed the “accounts”. After the disagreements that Idrizi has with Dule regarding the positions on the Cham issue, he did not accept in any way that there could be a coalition with him. On the contrary, he stated that he was forced to be part of the coalition.
Shpëtim Idrizi: I do not have and the PDIU has no problem with the Greek minority in Albania, undoubtedly also for their cause. In fact, if you want to see how the Albanians of Chameria and the minority coexist, go to the Municipality of Konispol, which is led by a Cham, and coexistence there goes very well. But, since Vangjel Dule denies honoring the Albanians of Chameria or sometimes holds positions of extremist Greek circles, of course Shpëtim Idrizi and the PDIU always have a problem. Let me also say this, if Vangjel Dule holds such positions on Cham issues, he becomes a burden like the work of the census, cemeteries and others. I think that his position should be unacceptable not only for the PDIU, but also for other parties. I have not changed and I will not change my position, neither for Beleri nor for Mr. Dule, when he will try to deny the rights of the Albanians of Chameria. Without a doubt, I refuse to have problems with the Greek minority, on the contrary, I am ready to decide… I am against any Albanian party nominating people who have been convicted of humiliating Albanians.
