Analyst Andi Bushati has described as “arrogance and idiocy” the Democratic Party’s attacks on MP Agron Shehaj, who now leads the “Mundësia” Party.
Shehaj had a conflict with Flamur Noka in the Assembly, where the Secretary General of the DP even used force to remove him from the podium, where Shehaj was standing requesting an interpellation for the Thumanë-Kashar road.
Bushati said that the DP deals with the individual by attacking its own causes in this way, such as the right to interpellation and investigative commissions, which the DP has also been denied.
“I was scandalized by the arrogance and idiocy that the DP has shown towards Agron Shehaj. The DP showed the blindness of a political force that deals with the person and not with the idea. He was insisting on an interpellation and a party that says they don’t give us interpellations and investigative commissions, instead of showing solidarity, goes and makes a fuss for protagonism. The most self-destructive opposition, as if they are paying him to harm himself… It was something that struck me,” said Bushati.
