Florina and Engjëll Cani, the mother and father of the 14-year-old who lost his life as a result of a stabbing, have given a very touching testimony for the show “Opinion” on Tv Klan.
Amidst the great pain of losing their son, Florina and Engjëll have told how they learned the terrible news of their son’s death.
Engjëll Cani: I found out by chance, I was working in a hotel, my daughter-in-law called me and said “call the teacher because he went to the hospital”. I thought he might have gotten into a little fight, or maybe he had a stroke or something. I called the teacher and she didn’t answer me, I called her again and went to the Military Hospital. They told me that your son is in the operating room and was only hit once, he has a chance of survival. After an hour, or half an hour, I don’t know, I was in shock, the doctors called me and told me that Martini couldn’t survive, his heart had been affected.
Florina Cani: The teacher informed me, they told me that there had been a fight. We had no idea.
Engjëll Cani: He was a child who didn’t fight with anyone. He was a leader.
