The 36-year-old woman died in an accident 9 days ago at the pedestrian crossing in the “Ali Demi” neighborhood in Tirana.
According to the police, the young woman was immediately sent to the hospital for medical help, but unfortunately she could not survive the injuries received from the collision.
The police announce that 1 day after the accident (January 15, 2024), the driver of the “Skoda” vehicle, the 22-year-old with the initials R.A., was arrested. According to the information of the blue uniforms, no deficiencies were found in the vehicle that the young man was driving. After performing the alcohol test, it turned out that the 22-year-old had not consumed alcohol.

A., 22 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offense “Violation of traffic rules” and the materials were transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further procedural actions Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.
This citizen, on 14.01.2024, around 11:00 p.m., in the “Ali Demi” neighborhood, near the “Kushtrimi i Lirisi” school (in the direction of Shkoza), in the pedestrian crossing, had an accident with the citizen M. F., 36 years old, living in Tirana, who was injured as a result of the accident and was sent to the hospital for medical assistance.
During the check of the documentation of the “Skoda” type vehicle, which was driven by citizen R. A., no deficiencies were found, and after the alcohol test, it was found that the driver of the vehicle had not consumed alcohol.
This evening, as a result of the injuries received from the accident, citizen M.F., passed away.
The police are continuing to carry out further procedural actions.
