The dead body of Arben Lleshi, who was killed inside the cell by the convict Sokol Mjacaj on December 15, is still in the morgue.
It is learned that no family member of Arben Lleshi has come forward to retrieve the dead body. Meanwhile, according to the procedures, if no one appears within a period of two months, the burial will be done by the municipality.

Arben Lleshi was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder and then the burning of the lifeless body of Agim Hoxha in 2012 in Great Britain. Lleshi was killed inside his cell in the high security prison in Pec by Sokol Mjacaj, who was also sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of two Czech tourists during a robbery attempt in 2015.
The execution of Arben Lleshi is suspected to have been carried out for blood feud motives. Earlier, unidentified persons killed his two uncles while kidnapping and missing his two first cousins. Despite the fact that the Lleshi family has so far lost 5 members, they are still afraid of revenge, even though it turns out that the relatives had abandoned the 37-year-old and none of them had met in prison in recent years. Until now, although 3 weeks have passed since the serious event, a relative of the victim has appeared in the morgue and identified him in the morgue, but then no family member has started the procedures for retrieving the body. If the family decides not to retrieve the body, within 60 days, then the Institute of Forensic Medicine requests authorization from the prosecutor’s office of Elbasan and the burial is carried out by the municipality, according to legal procedures.
