The dead body of Eraldo Nevruzi, the receptionist killed by the hotel owner in Dhërmi, was found this Friday morning by the Vlora police.

It is reported that the body of the victim was found in the stream of Gjipe, near a quarry between the villages of Dhërmi and Vunoi.

The 31-year-old was shot with two bullets shortly after midnight on Wednesday by Gerald Shehu, the owner of the hotel where he was employed for the tourist season.

Gerald Shehu was arrested yesterday in Corfu, while he was at the airport to leave for England, where he had regular residence documents.

After committing the crime, he hid the body in the quarry in the mountainous area and left in the direction of Saranda.

After hiding the vehicle in an old warehouse near the seaport in district number 4. of Saranda, he took a taxi to the Qafë Bota border crossing point.

There, when he crossed the border and took another taxi towards Igoumenica. In Igoumenica, he took the ferry to Corfu to then fly to England, where he was equipped with the relevant documents.

Two associates of the owner, employees of the hotel where the crime took place, were also arrested in connection with the incident.

Citizens Daniel Qose and David Larti, were detained by the blue uniforms under the charge of providing assistance to the author Gerald Shehu for hiding the victim’s body

Investigations related to the incident are continuing for the complete clarification of the motives and circumstances of the murder.
