The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in our country at around 11:00 pm yesterday evening, through Rinas airport, under strict security measures.
RENEA and FNSH Forces have landed on the ground, creating a security perimeter a few kilometers away from the airport.
That’s how the agenda for today has been revealed. Initially, a face-to-face meeting between Edi Rama and the President of Ukraine is planned in the Prime Minister’s building.
Then they will sign the agreements and go to the Congress Palace from where on this red carpet they will arrive at the Summit organized by the Albanian Government, 13 leaders of 13 countries from Southeast Europe.
A joint conference between Prime Minister Rama and President Zelensky is scheduled at 1:30 p.m.
Foreign Minister Igli Hasani has reacted through a status on the X platform, where he says that it is an honor that Tirana hosts the Ukrainian president, adding that this is also a key moment for the relations between the countries.
“Great honor to welcome President @ZelenskyyUa to Tirana. A key moment for promoting bilateral ties and standing in solidarity with Ukraine in its heroic fight against Russia’s aggression,” Hasani writes.
