MP Enkelejd Alibeaj, as far as his friendship with Basha is concerned, says in the ‘Frontline Interview’ that it remains a thing of the past in politics.
‘I don’t let my friends go. In my professional life, I don’t leave friends. But in politics, whoever does not have my step remains a thing of the past. Clarity is the language a politician must speak. That’s the culture, clarity pays off. My position is for a political formation, because there is a majority of Albanians where Sali Berisha and Edi Rama have come here. Not party to party. We have 135 parties. A new model of representation is needed. Even the way of party organization. Your party. The party that rides it and never gets off.’
