Auron Tare says that he was the first to take Donald Trump’s son-in-law and his wife, Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, to Sazan. He said that he is in favor of the project and supports it.
According to Taras, behind this project there are even more important people than Kushner himself who are part of world finance. This is one of the reasons, according to him, why such projects are important. He emphasized that he personally has no personal interest and he does this for the country because he lived for some time in Sazan to understand what can be done to develop that area.
Auron Tare: Why did these people come and why did I take them, invite them because they didn’t know where Sazani fell for the sake of the truth.
Blendi Fevziu: So you took them first?
Auron Tare: As you order. Biles, I received several phone calls from people who were very revolted because they thought that I took them for a private business and I don’t understand that to do something for the good of your country you can do it even without any kind of personal interest. Today I am a citizen, I live in America, I have nothing to do with this project. Neither Rama called me nor he called me to make up his mind.
I did it for my country because I spent a good amount of time there to understand what we could do. So we called them through a friend of mine and said this has been our concept, to maintain the whole island, and to maintain a kind of strong investment nucleus where you have to know something, it’s not just Kushner back there. There are some very important people there, more important than Kushner himself.
Blendi Fevziu: Of world finance?
Auron Tare: Of world finance, who are part of this thing. They are some very important people. It is not only the Arab fund, there are other funds as well. There are other people involved with other governments, others, others. For me, who has been publicly opposing the government for Butrint for four years, I am publicly defending it and if this happens it will be a very good thing for Albania and for the tourism of Vlora if this happens.
So if we have the opportunity to call these types of people, these types of brands like Amani, and these types of political connections because they are also political investments. We cannot deny that it is political connection and having such a high level connection of world finance with this project I think, I could be wrong, I think it is very important and for this work I am invested and I say it publicly, I support.
Asked if there is a chance of it being done, Tare said that he “hopes so”, but is skeptical as the investment is very large. As for the town in Sazan, Tare said that most of it was built by Italians, Soviets and Chinese.
“There are mice and rabbits and the interesting thing is that there are eagles, the only place where they don’t kill them because there are no people because in other countries they kill them”, he finished his speech.
