The Greek side at the Kapshtica customs point has announced the change in the conditions of the strike announced by the Customs Union regarding entry and exit at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point. The Greek side has informed the Kapshtica Border Police that during the 48 hours of the strike on April 2-4, there will be a change regarding the movement of small vehicles that will move on both sides of the border, 1 hour , in the time frame of 4 hours. The other conditions of the strike remain the same, which means that from April 2-4, entry and exit of goods transport vehicles, buses and taxi services will not be allowed.
In connection with this event, the State Police has also reacted, which says that only pedestrians without luggage and vehicles that will have health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.
“Following the information provided by the State Police, yesterday, we inform you that the Greek Police has notified the Kapshtica Border Police Station, that from 04.02.2024, from 05:30, until 04.04.2024, at 05:30, the Greek customs point in Kapshtica will be closed due to the protest by the Greek trade unions. Traffic of vehicles, buses and trucks will not be allowed. Only pedestrians, without luggage, and vehicles that have health emergencies will be allowed to circulate. The State Police is in constant contact with the Greek police authorities and there will be further announcements at the appropriate time, for any changes”, the police announced.
