Albanian wrestler, Zelimkhan Abakarov did not disappoint at the Olympic Games, Paris 2024, qualifying for the quarterfinals.
Abakarov defeated the wrestler from Guinea Bissau, Diamantino Iuna Fafe, with 7-6 points.
The youngster from Guinea, the 23-year-old is a two-time African champion.
The red and black wrestler did not start the match well, finding himself only at a 4-0 disadvantage, but in the last minute he managed to recover by getting 7 points that gave him a ticket to the quarter-final stage.
