Only 3 days after the deadline for registration of electoral coalitions at the CEC, the DP has closed negotiations with most of its allies.
The most difficult negotiations have been with the Freedom Party, as this party sought to have over 7 MPs on the safe lists. But the DP has stopped at 4, the same number of MPs that the PL fielded in the 2021 elections. It is not yet known in which districts the 4 names on the closed list will be.
As for the other allied parties, Agron Duka’s PAA will have one MP on the closed list of Durrës.
Fatmir Mediu’s Republican Party will also have a place on the safe lists. What is being discussed is the district.
Vangjel Dule’s PBDNJ will again have a place on the closed opposition lists.
As for Shpetim Idrizi’s PDIU, negotiations are ongoing. According to sources, the DP has only offered this party a place on the closed list, while there is still no agreement between the parties.
