Roan Brahimi is the 32-year-old, who was executed by gunfire in Athens on Thursday evening (May 9), an event which was witnessed by his family members, his wife and minor daughter.
The scenes of panic that followed the brutal murder were described by a businessman whose shop is located a few meters from the place of execution.
According to him, he first heard three shots and as soon as he came out of his store to see what happened, he saw a woman in a state of shock.
“I heard three shots. At that moment I heard on the radio that Olympiakos fans were entering the stadium and I asked myself ‘did the fireworks start now?’
“I went to the entrance of my shop and I see a woman opening the car door and screaming”, said the owner of the shop, who said that “when the killer shot the gun there were also children”.
How did the murder happen?
It all happened shortly after 21:30 on Thursday on Messolongiou Street when the victim was in a car with a woman. Suddenly a motorcycle passed the car and a person pulled out a gun and started shooting at the vehicle. The man died from the shooting, while the woman was initially reported to have been injured, but later it was clarified that she had not suffered any injuries.
Who is the victim?
The 32-year-old, who is also known as Ervis Martinaj’s enemy, has been a crooked character in several serious criminal events in Lezha district, but not only.
Three years ago, he was declared wanted by the police after it was suspected that together with 2 other people, among whom Ramazan Rrajën and Alesio Dobrozin, were armed in the premises of a bar in Lezhë.
In the assassination on July 22, 2022, where Roan Brahimi was involved, Ylli Ibrahimi was saved but Klisman Preçi was killed. The assassination happened when the two were returning home in an armored car, when they were shot with Kalashnikov volleys.
